Reports indicate that the director of the John Wick series had to reshoot most of the scenes in the spin-off "Ballerina"

The "John Wick" spin-off movie "John Wick: Le Ballerina" directed by Len Wiseman is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 6, 2025.

However, the film was originally scheduled to be released earlier this year, but was postponed to next year. Now, according to foreign media "The Wrap", the reason why "Ballet Killer" was postponed was that Chad Stahelski, the director of the "John Wick" series, was invited to supervise the action adjustments and "had to reshoot most of the movie."

The report also states that a large portion of the reshoots for Ballerinas took place in Prague, and Len Wiseman was not on the set.

"Of course, Chad has to clean up other people's messes. Remember, this movie is basically 'John Wick 3.5,'" an insider told The Wrap. "This story takes place before the story of 'John Wick 4.' After that movie, they can't fail on anything related to 'John Wick.'"

In addition, because Chad Stahelski needs to clean up the mess of "Ballet Kills", his next film "Highlander" (a reboot version, starring Henry Cavill) will be delayed for about 5 months.
