Jude Law to star in new Star Wars spinoff Star Wars: Backbone Crew

Disney officially announced a new original "Star Wars" spin-off series - "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew", starring Jude Law, which will be launched on Disney+ in 2023. Unveiled at Star Wars Celebration, Star Wars: Backbone Crew is from Spider-Man 3 director Jon Watts and screenwriter Christopher Ford, with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni serving as producers. Star Wars: Backbone Crew tells the story of a group of 10-year-old kids from an asteroid who are lost in a galaxy far away and must find their way home. The story takes place after the movie Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, and fits into the timeline of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka. In addition to Star Wars: Backbone Crew, Disney also announced that Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 3 will premiere in February 2023. |
