The movie "Scream 6" will be released in North America on March 31, 2023

The official Twitter account of "Scream" announced that the horror film "Scream 6" will be released in North America on March 31, 2023. It will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpinhe Tyler Gillett and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

After 11 years, "Scream" was rebooted in 2022 through the fifth film "Scream 5". The rebooted film not only received positive reviews from the media, but also achieved high box office. "Scream 5" grossed $81.15 million in the United States and $58.4 million overseas, with a total box office of $140 million.

"Scream 1" was released in 1996, and "Scream 4" was released in 2011. Wes Craven directed the first four films. Craven died in 2015.
