Halo TV series may cost $10 million per episode, as much as Game of Thrones

The live-action series "Halo" produced by Spielberg will premiere on March 24, and the second season of the TV series has been renewed. According to foreign media Variety, the budget for each episode of "Halo" in the first season is 10 million US dollars, and the total expenditure for nine episodes is about 90 million US dollars.

If true, the Halo TV series would cost as much per episode as HBO's Game of Thrones, which also spent about $10 million per episode in its early seasons. Disney+'s Marvel series cost about $25 million per episode, also the most expensive TV production.

IGN previously gave the "Halo" series a rating of 7 points, believing that although the series failed to perfectly restore the game in terms of special effects and action scenes, the first episode successfully completed a compelling narrative and opened up a story independent of the game plot.
