The latest PV of the original TV animation "Lazarus" is jointly produced by Shinichiro Watanabe and MAPPA

The latest trailer of the original TV animation "LAZARUS" has been released. It is co-produced by "Cowboy Bebop" director Shinichiro Watanabe and MAPPA, with "John Wick" director Chad Stahelski as the action designer. It will be broadcast in 2025 and will have a total of 13 episodes.

Animation story summary:

It is the year 2052 - an unprecedented era of peace and prosperity prevails across the globe. The reason: humanity is free from disease and suffering. Nobel Prize-winning neuroscientist Dr. Skinner has developed a miraculous panacea called "Hapuna" that has no noticeable side effects.

Three years later, the world has changed dramatically. But Dr. Skinner is back - and this time, he's the harbinger of doom. Hapner has a short half-life, Skinner announces. Everyone who has taken it dies after about three years. Death is coming to this sinful world - and soon.

To combat this threat, a special operations team of five agents arrives from around the world to save humanity from Skinner's plans. This team is called "LAZARUS". Can they find Skinner and create a vaccine before time runs out?
