"Thor 4" Lego spoilers again: Bell's villain appearance is exposed

Thanks to some brand new merchandise, we've got our first look at Thor: Love and Thunder's villain, Gorr "The God Butcher," played by Christian Bale.

The new LEGO set features the Goat Ship, a Viking ship pulled by goats Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder. On board are Thor, Thoresa (played by Natalie Portman's Jane Foster), Valkyrie, and Korg, who holds a giant sword. Some new Hasbro figures also give us a better look at Thor, Thoresa, and Korg.

Gorr the God Butcher plays an integral role in Jason Aaron's Mighty Thor comics, where he kills gods across time and space. In the comics, his planet is on the verge of famine, and his prayers to the gods are never answered. He becomes an orphan, loses his partner and all their children, and is exiled for losing faith in the gods. Eventually, Gorr kills his first god and swears that he will take revenge and kill the rest.

Along with Bale, Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster (Female Thor), as well as Chris Pratt and the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi also returns as Thor, and this time he also participated in writing the script.

"Thor: Love and Thunder" will be released in Europe and the United States on July 8.
