The first season of the "Halo" TV series is now scheduled to be broadcast online on March 24. According to IGN, in the first season of "Halo", the Master Chief will take off his helmet and show his face for the first time in 20 years. Paramount has now renewed the second season of the "Halo" TV series. Speaking with Ryan McCaffrey, head of transmedia studio at 343 Industries, Halo TV executive producer Kiki Wolfkill said showing the Master Chief's face was important to the story the Halo TV series will tell. “I think we were setting out to tell a character story and a personal story, and once we really understood what that story was, it became clear that you really needed to see the guy in the armor and the helmet,” Kiki Wolfkill said. You’re going to see his face, and for some people, it’s a moment that they’ve been waiting 20 years for, and for others, it’s a very hard thing to imagine. We’re going to have some respect for those who really want to see the Chief’s face and those who really don’t. But just by the nature of this story, it felt really important to connect with the Master Chief in a different way, and that’s to show his face.” |
