The sequel to "Wild Robots" is in development and the first one will be available on streaming on October 15

Chris Sanders, director and screenwriter of DreamWorks' acclaimed animated film "Wild Robots," recently said at an event that a sequel to the film is in development. Chris said, "There is 100% a sequel, and there are definitely plans to shoot a second film."

"Wild Robots" was released in mainland China on September 20, and its current box office is 49.138 million yuan; it was released in North America on September 27, and its global cumulative box office has reached 119 million US dollars.

The film is confirmed to be available on streaming and VOD rental platforms on October 15, with a window period of only 18 days.
