Spider-Man: No Return director to film Final Destination 6

Spider-Man: No Return director to film Final Destination 6

Final Destination 6 is currently in production, and it has just signed the director of Spider-Man: No Homecoming as a producer.

The Hollywood Reporter recently reported on Final Destination 6, including news that director Jon Watts will be involved in the film's production. The report said that the new film aims to "reboot" this terrifying and special effects-driven horror film series. Final Destination 6 will premiere directly through the media live streaming platform HBO Max, but the relevant platform and film distribution company have not announced the release date of the film.

The series has been dormant since the last film was released in 2011, and Final Destination 5 is itself a sudden reboot since the fourth film was called the "final work in the series." So far, no details of the story have been announced, but it is known that Jon Watts was responsible for the initial draft of the script, and Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick will be responsible for the subsequent screenwriting tasks. Their other works include the new Scream, which will be released this week.
