Producer says 'Batman' movie has nothing to do with DC Universe

The superhero universes created by Marvel and DC are both relatively successful, but according to Dylan Clark, the producer of "The Batman" movie, "The Batman" will not be related to the DC movie universe.

Dylan Clark, producer of the new Batman movie, said in an interview with Empire magazine: "We will not participate in (the DC universe). Matt (director of the new Batman movie) is interested in showing the emotional depth of this new Batman character and creating a shocking inner world."

Previously, Dylan Clark, the producer of the "Batman" movie, also said that he had expressed in front of Christopher Nolan that he wanted to surpass his "Batman" trilogy.

There's nothing surprising about this statement to anyone who's been following the film. It's a sentiment that was also made in the trailer for The Batman, which portrayed Robert Pattinson's Batman as a surprisingly good Batman, at least for now. In fact, that's the whole goal for a director who wants to break free from the constraints of the DCEU's rules.
