Barry Keoghan may play Joker in Batman

"The Batman" starring Robert Pattinson is a new blockbuster film from Warner DC. It is rumored that Barry Keoghan, the actor of "Dunkirk" and "Eternals", will play the Joker in the film.

Recently, Barry Keoghan's brother Eric posted and deleted a message in an online exchange, which seemed to confirm the rumor. He wrote: "This surreal thing about my brother playing the Joker in the new version of "Batman". Is anyone finally discussing it?"

Barry Keoghan announced last year that he would join The New Batman, but his role has not been revealed. According to the IMDb website, he plays Officer Stanley Merkel, the partner of Commissioner Gordon. It is not known how this role might be related to the Joker.
