The Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot will ignore theaters and will be exclusively broadcast on Netflix

Netflix and Legendary Pictures have reached a new agreement that allows the streaming giant to own the global rights to the reboot of the film "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". This means that the reboot of the film "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" will not be released in theaters, but will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix.

The rebooted film will be a direct sequel to the original 1974 film, ignoring all previous films in the series. The reboot is expected to be released this year.

Since its release in the 1970s, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has become one of the most influential horror films, with its iconic characters Leatherface and Freddy Jason becoming representative figures of American horror films.

In fact, this is not the first time that Netflix and Legendary Pictures have reached a similar agreement. The two parties have previously cooperated to transfer "Miss Holmes" starring Superman and Eleven from the cinema to Netflix. The result was very successful. According to reports, "Miss Holmes" was watched by 76 million subscribers in the first four weeks of its broadcast on Netflix, and a sequel is currently in production.
