Netflix's "Magic: The Gathering" animation's first cast: classic Superman voice

The Netflix animated series "Magic: The Gathering", based on the famous card game Magic: The Gathering, has announced its cast: "Superman" Brandon Routh ("Superman Returns") will voice the heroic Planeswalker character Gideon. The series was created by Jeff Klein ("Transformers: Prime"), with toy manufacturers Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast also participating, and will premiere in the second half of 2022.

At the same time, the official Twitter account of the animated series "Magic: The Gathering" also released a sketch and 3D model video of the hero Gideon in the series. At present, the script of the entire animated series has been written, the dubbing lineup is in place, and all recording work has been completed.

Gideon Sketch and 3D Model:

The show is a "character-first" entertainment work that focuses on familiar characters in the game's multiple magic universes and the relationships between these characters. Previously, Netflix announced that it would work with the Russo brothers (directors of "Avengers 3" and "Avengers 4") to create this animated series, but the Russo brothers have now withdrawn from the production team.

At present, there is still a lot of work to be done on Netflix's "Magic: The Gathering" animated series, which will be broadcast in the second half of 2022.
