Warner CinemaCon releases new footage of Batman, receives praise from all sides

Recently, Warner Bros. released new footage from the movie "The Batman" at CinemaCon, which confirmed that Robert Pattinson's Batman will tame the dark and depressing Gotham.

According to The Wrap, the new footage released at CinemaCon featured a chaotic opening sequence that saw Batman (Robert Pattinson) walk through Gotham. Zoe Kravitz's Catwoman and Jeffrey Wright's Commissioner Gordon also appeared in the footage.

Aaron Couch, editor of The Hollywood Reporter, also tweeted, "We have another Batman movie trailer since last year's DC FanDome trailer, and it looks awesome on the big screen."

Brandon Davis of ComicBook also saw the new footage and described it on Twitter as a "long, dark, epic behind-the-scenes look." Davis also called the new Batman footage "amazing," and The Wrap reports that director Matt Reeves is promising an "emotional Batman movie" unlike anything the genre has seen before.
