Venom 2 may be delayed for the fourth time and will be released on January 21, 2022

According to foreign media Variety, Venom 2 is expected to be postponed for the fourth time to January 2022. Multiple sources said that Sony Pictures plans to replace the current release date of Doctor Morbius, January 21, 2022. The film has recently been postponed for the third time from September this year to October 15, and is seen as one of the blockbusters that may be withdrawn from the autumn season due to the rebound of the epidemic in North America.

Sony has not made any official confirmation yet, and reports say Sony will wait until after this year's CinemaCon to make an announcement. If the news of the delay is true, this will be the fourth delay of Venom 2. The film was originally scheduled to be released in June, then postponed to September 17, then September 24, and the latest official announcement is October 15, the third time.
