Netflix announces cast for The Witcher prequel, including Lenny Henry

Yesterday (August 16), Netflix released on Twitter some of the stars who will star in "The Witcher: Blood Origin". "The Witcher: Blood Origin" is a prequel to the TV series "The Witcher". It is set 1,200 years before the story of "The Witcher" and tells the origin of the first generation of wizards and the occurrence of the world event "Celestial Confluence". It is reported that the series will contain 6 seasons.

Here is the cast list announced by Netflix:

Mirren Mack will play Merwyn, Lenny Henry, who stars in the upcoming Lord of the Rings TV series, will play the character Balor, Jacob Collins-Levy will play Eredin, Lizzie Annis will play Zachary, Hugh Novelli will play Callan "Brother Death", Francesca Mills will play Meldof, Amy Murray will play Fenrik, Nathaniel Curtis will play Brían, Zach Wyatt will play Sindriel and Black Book star, Dylan Moran will play Uthrok One-Nut.
