The 12-episode ancient fantasy animation series "Wu Chengen's Monster Hunting" released a concept film today (August 8), and the first Wu Chenen animation image was announced. It is reported that the work is adapted from the novel "Wu Chengen's Monster Hunting", which conceives a fantasy world of Journey to the West written by Wu Chengen, the author of "Journey to the West", who caught monsters himself. It is jointly produced by Penguin Pictures and Bukong Culture, produced by Bukong Culture, and exclusively broadcast by Tencent Video. The first trailer of "Wu Chengen's Hunting of Demons" is released: The story of "Wu Cheng'en's Monster Hunting" originated from an idea. It is said that in order to write about Wu Song fighting a tiger, Shi Naian personally climbed a tree to watch how the tiger moved. So Wu Cheng'en wrote a whole story about catching monsters. Did he catch monsters himself? Based on this idea, Shi You created the original novel "Wu Cheng'en's Monster Hunting" and Ma Boyong and Haitang worked together to complete it, and adapted it into the animation "Wu Cheng'en's Monster Hunting".
