The new film "Predator" has been shot for 3/4, and the director of "The Boys" will direct a female protagonist

Producer John Davis revealed to foreign media that 3/4 of the fifth new film in the "Predator" series, "Predator: Skull", has been shot. It is directed by Daniel Trachtenberg, the director of the American TV series "The Boys". Female characters are the protagonists. It tells the story of the Predator's early arrival on Earth, which is somewhat similar to "The Revenant".

The Predators are an alien race with a highly civilized character. They look close to humans, but have animal features, fangs, claws, are tall, strong and powerful, and their skin is mostly beige. They have network cables all over their bodies to carry trophies and fix weapons and equipment.

Predator is a major IP of Fox. Although the reboot by producer Robert Rodriguez and director Nemorod Antar in 2010 was not successful, Fox obviously does not want to shelve this series. In 2018, the rebooted version of Predator was released. At present, the new Predator: Skull should be regarded as the fifth sequel of this series. The release date has not been determined yet. Some media predict that the film may be released in 2022.
