The story of "Tora-chan's Adventure" begins with a unique premise in which a group of kittens go on an adventure in a helicopter. This premise would have been very fresh and appealing to children at the time. The story begins with a scene in which the tiger cub is rescued, and beautifully depicts a series of events, including an adventure in the jungle, a crisis in a native (human) village, and then rescue.
