Overview

story

Just after the New Year, Mitsuo was having a restless day. Parman had attached a micro recorder to select a Parman to participate in a one-year study abroad program on the planet Bird. No. 1 (Mitsuo) had prepared himself for not being selected because he was clumsy, but for some reason the computer chose him. The Parmans were convinced by Birdman's explanation that "he was a coward but he tried his best." However, Birdman himself was puzzled by the computer's decision. Mitsuo, unaware of this, went to secretly say goodbye to Michiko, but Michiko, who knew nothing about it, coldly told him, "Study hard in the third semester." Copy was also depressed, saying, "I don't have the confidence to be Mitsuo for a year."
