Different destinies, different lives. On November 13, according to media reports, Mehan Karimi Nasseri, the prototype of the protagonist Victor in Steven Spielberg's 2004 film "The Terminal", died at Charles de Gaulle Airport in France on November 12 at the age of 76.

According to reports, the Paris Airport Authority said that Nasseri died of a heart attack at the airport terminal at noon on the 12th. The police and a medical team rescued him but failed to save his life.

Nasseri reportedly lived in Terminal 1 of the airport from 1988 to 2006. He got into legal trouble in the early days because he did not have a residence permit, but later lived in the terminal out of personal choice.

It is understood that in 2004, "The Terminal" starring Tom Hanks, the French film "Lost in Transport" and the opera "Flight" were all inspired by Nasseri's story.

Regarding Nasseri’s death, one netizen said: “I just rewatched ‘The Terminal’ yesterday, and I never expected that the end of his life would be at the airport.”
