Main Characters

Tamura Eriko is a 14-year-old girl and the main character of the story. She was raised without any hardships as the daughter of the president of a major entertainment production company, "Tamura Pro", but after her father's death she decided to pursue a career as an idol. Although she was unreliable at the beginning of her debut, she gradually matured into a strong and resilient woman. She is a cousin of Asagiri Rei, and initially attended Seiai Girls' Academy, but after being expelled she transferred to Class 3C of the local public Sekinami Junior High School. She has a sensitive and earnest personality, and is still at the age where she falls in love.

Asagiri Rei is a 16-year-old girl who works as Tamura Production's signature idol "ERI." She always has a poker face when dealing with others and never opens up. This is due to an unfortunate childhood in which she grew up without knowing her father's face. However, she has a deep affection for Yusuke, who discovered her as a singer, as if she were a family member. She sees Yusuke's image in Eriko and treats her like a younger sister, but their relationship was on the verge of falling apart due to Yusuke's lies. Later, when Rei finds out about the existence of her real father, she sets aside all resentment, reconciles with Eriko, and begins her path to becoming a world-class singer.

Seigo Aki is the vocalist and leader of the rock band "Steal," and has won over many female fans with his wild personality. Currently, he is equally popular with REI, but he is also a strong believer in ability, and in that respect, he and Ura seem to get along well. There are signs that he has feelings for Ura, and Ura seems to like him as well, but no concrete progress has been made. He has already recognized Eriko's talent since they met on the Marine Live Stage, and has given her advice at key points.

Yamagata Asami is Eriko's classmate in class 3-E at Seiai Girls' Academy, and her one and only best friend. She has a bright and lively personality, and Eriko says, "She can be clumsy and scatterbrained, but she's the girl I love." She is always worried about Eriko, who suffers various misfortunes, and they share a strong bond, even putting her life on the line for her best friend. She has a slight admiration for Seigo, whom she met by chance.

Osawa Hiroshi is a young man nicknamed the "singing wild child" who appears out of nowhere with a saxophone in hand. He showed off his unique vocals not only in Tokyo but all over Japan, and Yoshiko recognized his talent and made his debut in the entertainment industry. It is unclear what he did before becoming a singer, but he seems to have a philosophical outlook on the world and never shows his emotions. Later, he gave up on the Japanese entertainment industry and traveled to Africa.
