story

■ Story

Known as the "Witch of the Universe," Emeraldas is a female pirate who flies through space in her airship-like spaceship, the Queen Emeraldas. No one knows why she is traveling in space. A young boy named Umino Hiroshi launches himself into space in a homemade spaceship, but it crashes into a canyon north of Argyre on Deimos, a moon of Mars. Hiroshi is seriously injured and taken to the hospital, but he manages to escape and returns to the crash site where he meets Emeraldas.

The story of Emeraldas is a journey to discover her past and her purpose, but it is also a story of the growth and adventures of the young boy, Hiro Umino. The encounter between Emeraldas and Hiro will greatly change the fate of both of them. The story becomes deeper as the cold-heartedness and kindness of Emeraldas and the purity and courage of Hiro intertwine.
