story

The story is set in East City in the year 20XX. In this city, a toy called B-Daman was very popular among children. The main character, Kakeru Ryugasaki, is an elementary school student living in this city. He is an active and laid-back boy who dreams of becoming an adventurer in the future. He always says "mystery" and has a somewhat airheaded side. One day, he is taken to his first B-Daman tournament by his childhood friend and classmate Natsumi Inaba. However, Kakeru is not participating as a player, but to help out Akira Saika, the owner of a hobby shop, with his stall. Natsumi is a regular at Saika's shop, and she introduced Kakeru to Saika, who is struggling with a shortage of staff. Kakeru had never heard of B-Daman before, but he gradually became interested in it due to his natural curiosity. Furthermore, at the venue, he hears an urban legend that is spreading among the children of the city. It is that "there is a secret B-Daman tournament that only a select few B-Damaners can participate in." Kakeru laughs at the story as being absurd, but then an unidentified, mysterious voice speaks to him. "Boy, there are still many things in this world that you do not know." And with that voice, a boy named Shirogane Subaru appears, carrying a White Dragon-type B-Daman. Kakeru is overwhelmed by Subaru's cool and mysterious aura. Subaru leaves the venue alone, but Kakeru is curious as to what he is. After participating in his first event, Kakeru is given a B-Daman as a gift for helping with the stall. It is a "Dracian" equipped with a Blue Dragon-type power-type Accel Core. To participate in a B-Daman competition, you need to connect your B-Daman to the Internet terminal "B-Futa" and register as a player. Kakeru immediately registers as a player, but something strange happens to his beloved machine, and he receives a mysterious invitation through "B-Futa." Kakeru goes to the designated location and learns a surprising fact. The "Secret B-Daman Tournament" of urban legend actually existed. There, B-Daman players who could shoot with unusual power held athletic competitions in a high-tech stadium. Subaru was playing, and the White Dragon appeared in the stadium with his super shot. Kakeru was even more surprised. His beloved robot, Dracian, had somehow acquired a will and started speaking. "This is a secret tournament, Cross Fight. Kakeru... from today on, you will join forces with me and fight here!" says Dracian. Thus begins Kakeru's new adventure.
