HBO renews Bruce Lee's posthumous drama "Warrior" for third season

HBO renews Bruce Lee's posthumous drama "Warrior" for third season

According to IGN, HBO has renewed the third season of the American TV series "Warrior", which is adapted from Bruce Lee's posthumous work. Due to Cinemax's transformation, it has stopped producing original programs and the third season will be broadcast directly on HBO MAX streaming media.

The original author of the play is Bruce Lee. He spent many years researching the project during his lifetime, but it was not produced or published in the end. It was his daughter Shannon Lee who found a large number of manuscripts related to the project when she was sorting out his belongings. It is directed by Justin Lin, the director of "Fast and Furious", and starred by Japanese actor Andrew Koji. The story tells the story of a young warrior from Chinatown in San Francisco in the late 19th century, who was involved in a bloody gang war in Chinatown.

The second season of Warrior premiered on October 2, 2020, and all 10 episodes have been aired.
