Do you remember the former largest pirated manga website "Mangamura" in Japan that was shut down in 2019? On April 7, the Fukuoka District Court sentenced the former owner of the website, Michimi Hoshino, to four years and six months in prison, plus a fine of 10 million yen, and ordered him to pay compensation of up to 60 million yen.

According to court documents, in May 2017, Mangamura released many comic resources for free, including Shueisha's popular comics "One Piece" and "Kingdom". From December 2016 to November 2017, it was found that advertising revenue of up to 62 million yen entered Hoshino Michimi's overseas account. In 2019, Hoshino Michimi was arrested in the Philippines, marking the complete collapse of Mangamura.
