"Transformers", which was born in 1984, has developed multiple series of works in many fields such as animation, toys, comics, and movies. Recently, a new "Transformers" original graphic novel for teenagers was announced, and its protagonist is called "the worst robot in history." This graphic novel, titled "Transformers: The Worst Robots Ever: Meet the Ballpoint Pen," tells the story vividly from the title. The protagonist is a Decepticon member known for his evil, but he is the most unsuccessful one among the Decepticons because he can only turn into a ballpoint pen. The official introduction also mentioned that Atom Pen "was kicked out of the Decepticons forever after his latest attempt to defeat the Autobots ended in terrible failure", and "Can Atom Pen prove his worth by defeating the Autobots alone? Or will he continue to fail and find that being the 'best'... is not easy?". As one of the more interesting concept characters in the current Transformers works, Transformers: The Worst Robots Ever: Meet the Ballpoint Pen will be the first work of Skybound Comet (a newly established publishing company for Skybound Entertainment focusing on young readers). It was created by writer Brian 'Smitty' Smith and artist Marz Jr and will be the first in a series of original graphic novels. |
