Transformers plans new movie unrelated to existing live-action movie series

According to foreign media reports, Paramount Pictures will create a new independent "Transformers" movie.

Written by Marco Ramirez (The Defenders) and directed by Angel Manuel Soto (Street Racer, The Dinner Party), the film will have nothing to do with the existing Transformers live-action film series. The project is still in its early stages, and the characters and plot are unknown.

In addition, the seventh live-action "Transformers" movie is currently being actively produced, continuing the sequel story of "Bumblebee". It is directed by Stephen Caple Jr. ("Creed 2"), will start shooting in July this year, and is scheduled to be released on June 24, 2022.
