DC's new drama "Superman & Lois" has a strong ratings performance and is confirmed to be renewed for a second season

Although only two episodes of the first season have been aired so far, DC's new drama "Superman & Lois" has been renewed for a second season.

The decision was made so quickly because the premiere of "Superman & Lois" broke the highest ratings of CW prime time ever created by "The Flash" and "Roswell", and also created the highest single-day ratings for new programs on the CW streaming platform.

"Superman and Lois" is produced by Todd Helbing, the producer of "The Flash", and Greg Berlanti, who develops DC's "Green Arrow Universe" for CW. The leading actors Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch have played the roles of Superman and Lois respectively in the DC "Supergirl" series.

The drama tells the story of the male and female protagonists who are able to cope with the pressure of being "the world's most famous hero" and "the most famous reporter", but they now have a new challenge, which is how to take on the role of parents.
