DC's "Black Adam" welcomes new cast: the villain wizard from "Aladdin"

The new DC film "Black Adam" starring Johnson has welcomed a new cast. Marwan Kenzari ("Aladdin", "The Everlasting Guard") is in talks to join the new DC film "Black Adam", but the role he will play has not been revealed.

Dwayne Johnson will play Black Adam in "Black Adam", Aldis Hodge ("The Rookies", "City on the Hill", "The Invisible Man") will play Hawkman, Noah Centineo ("To All the Boys I've Loved Before", "Charlie's Angels") will play Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi ("Person of Interest", "The L Word") will play a university professor and freedom fighter who leads the resistance organization in Black Adam's hometown of Khandaq, and Quintessa Swindell ("Euphoria", "My Fair Lady") will play Tornado.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Small Midnight Sun, The Shallows, Orphan), Black Adam will begin filming in Atlanta in April and will be released in North America on December 22, 2021.
