DC's "Green Arrow" spin-off universe's new drama "Superman and Lois" has released new stills, showing the latest "Superman suit". Superman in the new drama is played by Tyler Hoechlin and will be aired on February 24, 2021. The new Superman suit in Superman and Lois connects the cape to the collar, which is closer to the comic book style than previous suits. "I find the new suit to be representative of this show," said Superman actor Tyler Hoechlin. "It's unique and very different than what's come before, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to wear it and the responsibility that comes with it. But it's always interesting when I'm asked how I feel about 'my new suit' because I've always felt like the suit doesn't belong to me. It belongs to everyone who finds some kind of meaning in that suit, in that chest symbol, and I just happen to be the one wearing it. Because when you wear the suit, it not only represents yourself, it represents the entire team, and everyone who's ever worn that suit. So when I wear the new suit, it represents everything that Superman has stood for for nearly a century. I look forward to continuing that tradition." The story of DC's new drama "Superman and Lois" will explore how Superman and Lois cope with today's society and the pressures of life brought about by being working parents. Superman is played by Tyler Hoechlin and Lois is played by Bitsie Tulloch. |
