Netflix is now developing an animated series based on Valve's hit game "Dota 2". The animation, which consists of 8 episodes and is called "Dota: Dragon's Blood", will be broadcast on March 25. Netflix released the first trailer of the animation today. Trailer: Netflix officially stated: "This fantasy animated series tells the story of the famous dragon knight Davion clearing the world of natural disasters. After encountering a powerful ancient dragon, Princess Mirana issued a secret mission, and the dragon knight was involved in a huge event far beyond his imagination." The animation will be produced by MIR Studios, which previously produced The Legend of Korra and Netflix's Voltron: Legendary Defender. Dota 2 is not the only MOBA to be adapted into an anime. Riot Games is also currently developing an anime called Arcane based on League of Legends, which was originally scheduled to be released in 2020 but has now been postponed to this year. |
