Oda's masterpiece "One Piece" not only touches the hearts of many readers around the world, but also directly promotes the local economy and public welfare of his hometown, Kumamoto Prefecture. On October 9, the eighth of a total of nine "One Piece" life-size statues charity project was unveiled, with the beautiful and wise archaeologist Robin from the Straw Hat Pirates making a shining appearance. Nico Robin is a main character in the Japanese manga "One Piece" and its derivative works. She is an archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. She was born on the archaeological island "Ohara" in the West Sea. At the age of 8, she was offered a bounty of 10 million for the survivor of Ohara. She has the ability of "Flower-Flower Fruit", which allows any part of her body to bloom like a flower on any tangible object within sight and attack or use it for other purposes. Her goal is to find the true historical text and never forgive those who trample on historical relics. The purpose of the One Piece large statue project is to promote public welfare for the reconstruction of the Kumamoto earthquake. A total of 9 statues will depict all members of the Straw Hat Pirates. They will be designed and produced by Eiichiro Oda himself. This Robin statue will be placed in the old Tokai Aso Museum in Kawayo, Minamiaso Village. |
