A Shanghai Transformers toy collector has spent more than 300,000 yuan to collect his toys in his house over the past 10 years

On February 5, Japanese media reported on a collector from Shanghai, China. Shen Yin, 45 years old, has spent more than 300,000 yuan to fill his house with various Transformers toys in the more than 10 years since he started collecting.

Shen Yin, 45 years old, currently lives in Shanghai. Since he became obsessed with Transformers toys in 2008, he has collected more than 400 kinds of Transformers toys and spent more than 300,000 yuan.

Shen Yin's King Kong toy house is about 50 square meters, which is a luxury in Shanghai where every inch of land is valuable. It is filled with all kinds of Transformers toys, including mass-produced civilian products priced at 200 yuan and limited high-end products priced at around 1,200 yuan. Shen Yin's hobby revolves around Transformers. In 2019, he went to Shizuoka, Japan to attend a model conference to showcase the Transformers models he designed and made himself.
