As US President Donald Trump's presidency comes to an end, Trump is leaving the White House. In recent days, the National Archives and Records Administration has been packing up items from the White House in preparation for the move, and photos of them packing items have been published online. One of the photos shared by Reuters attracted the attention of Marvel fans, showing that among the items they packed was Thor's hammer in the Marvel universe. Not only that, the hammer also had the letters "Trump" written on it. The tweet read: "A person from the National Archives and Records Administration holds a large hammer engraved with the word 'TRUMP' at the White House in Washington, D.C., on January 15, 2021. It is not clear whether this Trump/Thor's hammer will be sent to the National Archives and Records Administration for safekeeping, or even the origin of this Trump/Thor's hammer." It’s unclear how many of these items were brought by President Trump for personal enjoyment or for eventual donation to the National Archives, though the hammer appears to fall into the former category. |
