The first batch of photos of the 2020 live-action reboot of "Mortal Kombat" are shared

Explore Entertainment recently released the first official images of the 2020 live-action reboot of Mortal Kombat. These images show some major characters such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Liu Gang, Kung Lao and the protagonist Cole.

Cole is a fighter and a brand new character in the Mortal Kombat universe. Similar to the Resident Evil movie (which introduced Aerith), in this MK reboot we will follow Cole's journey.

According to the film's director Simon McQuaid, the "Mortal Kombat" movie will be very bloody, with exciting fighting scenes and the iconic ending shot of the series. In addition, MK fans can look forward to some easter eggs and the iconic moves of all the main characters.

"Mortal Kombat" will be broadcast on HBO Max on April 16. The film will have a very strong cast, including Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tadanobu Asano, etc.
