It is reported that the new Bond girl Ana de Armas will join the Netflix action thriller "The Gray Man" starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. The film is directed by the Russo brothers ("Avengers 4") and adapted from Mark Greene's 2009 novel of the same name. The script was co-written by Joe Russo and his old partners Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely who have participated in the "Captain America" and "Avengers" series. The film revolves around a former CIA spy and freelance assassin nicknamed "The Gray Man" whose real name is Kurt Gentry, showing a deadly duel between assassins. The assassin played by Gosling will be hunted down around the world by Lloyd Hansen, a former CIA colleague played by Captain America. The film will be Netflix's highest-budget film ever, costing more than $200 million, hoping to create a spy series on the same level as 007. The film will start shooting in Los Angeles in January next year and will move to Europe for shooting next spring. |
