It's settled! Warner Bros. officially announced that Mads Mikkelsen will replace Depp in Fantastic Beasts 3

Today (November 26), according to foreign media Entertainment Weekly, Warner has officially announced that "Uncle Pull" Mads Mikkelsen will replace Johnny Depp and play Grindelwald in "Fantastic Beasts 3".

In the Fantastic Beasts 3 series, this role was previously played by Johnny Depp. After he lost the lawsuit against The Sun, Warner Bros. asked him to withdraw from the series. Warner Bros. also revealed that they would re-select someone to play Grindelwald. Later, the media reported that Mikkelsen was in talks to play the role, and he himself said that he was waiting for a call, and now it has been confirmed.

"Fantastic Beasts 3" is currently filming and will be released in North America on July 15, 2022.
