The new Japanese drama version of "Japan's Sinking Hope" will feature an ambitious official from the Ministry of the Environment (played by Shun Oguri) as the protagonist. It tells the story of how he and the elite officials participating in the "Japan Future Promotion Conference" face the crisis envisioned by Dr. Tansho, an authority in the Japanese geophysical community, and look for hope for the future.
