The first HD Blu-ray disc of Osamu Tezuka's masterpiece "Firebird" is released in December

"Firebird", the masterpiece handed down from generation to generation by the "God of Comics" Osamu Tezuka, is one of the most highly regarded works among his many works. Today, on September 16, it was officially announced that the first "Firebird" movie, which was released in 1978, will be reproduced in HD. The new Blu-ray disc is scheduled to be released in mid-December, so stay tuned.

"Phoenix Bird" is a comic created by the late Japanese cartoonist Osamu Tezuka. It is one of the most highly praised works of the author. It tells the story of the wedding night of the young boy Nagi and the pharmacist Kusri, who lived in the foothills where the fire bird lives. Kusri suddenly left the wedding banquet and went to the beach.

The first "Firebird" film was released in 1978, directed by Kon Ichikawa, and combined animation, live-action performances, and special effects technology in a unique style. This Blu-ray version uses technical means to reproduce the original work in high definition, and will also come with precious data sets, art illustrations, and various souvenir postcards, etc., which are of great collection value.

The HD Blu-ray Deluxe Edition of the first movie "Firebird" is priced at 33,000 yen and is scheduled to be released in mid-December. Stay tuned.
