The release date of Guan Hu's film "Eight Hundred" has been extended by one month, and will be extended to October 21, 2020, spanning the National Day holiday. The film was officially released on August 21, and has been released for 21 days, with a box office of over 2.5 billion.

"The Eight Hundred" is based on the 1937 Battle of Shanghai. It tells the story of a reinforced battalion of the 524th Regiment of the 88th Division of the Third War Zone of the Chinese National Revolutionary Army, known as the "Eight Hundred Heroes", who defended the Sihang Warehouse on the Suzhou River and blocked the Japanese army.
