The art design video of the animated film "Yang Jian" shows the subversion of Erlang Shen's appearance

Today (August 25), the new art design video of the animated film "Yang Jian" was released. In the early art design of "Yang Jian", the inherent stereotype of Yang Jian was subverted, and the superb combat skills and never-give-up spirit of Yang Jian in ancient mythology were integrated to show everyone the image of Erlang Shen Yang Jian with a richer character.

The animated film "Yang Jian" tells the story of how the mother of Erlang Shen Yang Jian disregarded the rules of heaven and gave birth to children with a mortal. She was later captured by heaven and imprisoned under Taoshan. Howling Sky Dog accompanied Yang Jian throughout his life, going through hardships, and finally assisted Yang Jian in destroying the nine golden crows and saving the people. In addition, the movie introduces the "dog world" of Howling Sky Dog for the first time, combining it with the character of Yang Jian.

"Yang Jian" is produced by Hu Mingyi, the producer of "The Return of the Great Sage", with Zhou Tifeng as the producer, Du Yuze and Zhou Heqian as co-producers, and Yin Yuqi as the chief director. The film will be released nationwide in 2021.
