Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to make a new CG animated film that will abandon the dirty and messy style

According to Deadline, a new CG animated film of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be made. Paramount announced that it will co-produce a new CG animated film of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey, a company owned by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver. Directed by Jeff Rowe (The Return of the Jedi), written by Brendan O'Brien (Neighbors), Paramount Pictures will be responsible for global distribution.

Paramount has launched two live-action versions of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The first one, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, cost $125 million to make and grossed $493 million worldwide, which was a good performance. However, the second one, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, cost $135 million and only grossed $245 million worldwide, which was a failure. The new CG animated film of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is expected to abandon the dirty and messy style of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles originated from an American comic in 1984, the first animated series was released in 1987, and the version was introduced to mainland China around 1991, becoming a childhood memory for many people born in the 1970s and 1980s. The protagonists of this work are a group of sharp-tongued, pizza-loving turtles named after artists from the Renaissance, including Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci and Donatello, who learned ninjutsu from a mutant mouse from New York.
