Disney officially releases the Chinese theme song of "Mulan" dedicated to every woman

Disney officially released the Chinese theme song "Self" for the live-action movie "Mulan" adapted from the animation today. The song is sung by the female lead Liu Yifei herself.

The spirit that the song wants to convey is also very consistent with the festive atmosphere of today's Women's Day. "Self" turns courage and strength into moving notes, dedicated to every extraordinary woman who lives out her own life on the battlefield of life. "Mulan" is directed by Niki Caro, starring Liu Yifei and Donnie Yen, with special appearances by Gong Li and Jet Li. It is scheduled to be released in North America on March 27, 2020. The film is adapted from the 1998 Disney animated film of the same name, telling the story of Hua Mulan disguising herself as a man, joining the army on behalf of her father, and bravely fighting the Huns.
