"Parasite" makes Korean instant noodles and cheap beer popular: causing international sensation

Jjajangmyeon, translated as ram-don in the English subtitles of Parasite, is a cross between Nongshim Shin Ramyun, instant black bean noodles and Korean udon noodles. Director Bong Joon-ho said the scene showed that even children from wealthy families love fast food.

It is reported that the sales of Nongshim, the brand of this instant noodle, have increased by nearly 30 million US dollars compared with the same period last year. The company also released a video on YouTube, showing how to make Shin Ramyun in 11 languages ​​including English, Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese.
