Peaky Blinders screenwriter is finishing the movie script and reveals when the movie will be shot

Steven Knight, screenwriter of the British gangster biographical TV series "Peaky Blinders", recently confirmed that there is indeed a script for a "Peaky Blinders" movie. Knight is also busy making a "Star Wars" movie, but he has almost completed the script for the British gangster series.

Knight told Radio Times, "I'm doing the final work now." He also added some details of the creation and revealed that his idea is to start shooting sometime in the middle of this year (2024).

“I just sit down at the keyboard and write. It’s a bit like a dream for me,” Knight said. “All this stuff just comes to me when I’m sitting there, and then I look back at it and say, ‘That’s great — but where did it come from?’”

The Peaky Blinders film is expected to be set during World War II, and Knight said the film will be "same but different" from the TV series, telling viewers to "expect the unexpected".
