Henry Cavill reveals he spent three days dehydrated to perform in the bathtub scene for The Witcher

In order to achieve better performance effects in film and television works, actors often take some extreme measures to shape their image. For example, in the popular "Joker", Joaquin Phoenix lost 47 pounds during the filming. In the Netflix version of "The Witcher" that was popular on the 20th, Henry Cavill, who played Geralt, also took extraordinary measures - he dehydrated for three days to play the bathtub scene.

In an interview with Graham Norton, Henry Cavill revealed his preparations for the bathtub and nude scenes. In order to dry and tighten the skin and tighten the muscles to highlight the body curve, he adopted a segmented dehydration method. On the first day, he only consumed 1.5L of water, half a liter on the second day, and no water at all on the third day. He described himself as the most miserable person on the planet at that time, "I felt that my nose could smell whether there was water nearby."

The eight episodes of the first season of Netflix's The Witcher were released on the 20th, and the reviews are currently above average. Henry Cavill's acting skills have been generally recognized, and the audiences think that he has "replicated" the version of The Witcher 3 in terms of voice and expression, and he has done a great job.
