The crew members of "Black Panther 2" recently confirmed that the film has finally been completed. Black Panther 2 started filming as early as 2018, but the road to filming was very bumpy. First, the male lead Chadwick Boseman unfortunately passed away in 2020, resulting in Black Panther 2 suddenly having no protagonist. Marvel Studios then decided not to tell the story of Black Panther, and director Coogler had to modify the script to focus on other characters. In addition to the plot changes, the COVID-19 pandemic also made the filming of this film even more difficult. Filming resumed at the end of June 2021, when the script had not yet been finalized. Soon after, the production encountered its first big trouble because the lead actor Wright was injured during a stunt and could not continue filming. Later, Wright made controversial remarks about the COVID-19 vaccine (refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine), and various factors led to the release date of "Black Panther 2" being postponed to the end of 2022. It is reported that the actual shooting period of the film is only 117 days and it will be released in North America on Double 11, 2022. |
