Deadpool's new film "The Clone" first released trailer, game NPC awakens and rewrites the world

The action comedy blockbuster "Free Guy" starring "Deadpool" Ryan Reynolds released its first trailer today. The film focuses on the game world we are familiar with, and tells a hilarious and exciting story from the perspective of NPCs.

Ryan Reynolds' Doppelganger trailer:

Guy, a bank clerk played by Ryan Reynolds, discovered that he was actually a background character in a brutal action-adventure video game: after staying at home, going to work, experiencing robberies, and being taken hostage countless times every day without feeling that there was anything wrong, one day he accidentally rebelled against the program and changed from an NPC to a player's perspective.

It then falls to the supporting character Guy to save the world: he must, with the help of an avatar, stop the game's owner from shutting down his world.

The film is described as "similar to The Truman Show with more action scenes". It is directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Stranger Things) and stars Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Joe Keery (Stranger Things) and Taika Waititi (Thor 3).
