The long post-production begins! Anno Hideaki plans to film "Shin Ultraman"

In August this year, Tsuburaya Productions issued an official announcement confirming that the "Shin Ultraman" movie has begun production. Hideaki Anno is in charge of planning and scripting, and Shinji Higuchi is the director. It is expected to be released in 2021. On November 23, Shinji Higuchi announced that the filming of "Shin Ultraman" has been completed and thanked the fans for their support.

·Hideaki Anno was inspired by Space Battleship Yamato when he was a teenager, and thus developed a strong interest in animation, and began to try to make animation in high school. After that, director Hideaki Anno once directed the animation Neon Genesis Evangelion and gained fame, and is currently working on the last work of the new Evangelion movie. It is reported that Anno himself is actually a loyal fan of Ultraman. He became interested in Return of Ultraman while studying at Osaka University of Arts, and also made a short film by himself.

·In this way, fans can rest assured that Hideaki Anno can devote himself to his main job "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" (the film is scheduled to be released in June 2020), and I believe it will not be postponed.
